Format Select one of 5 image formats to convert your images to: · Compuserve Graphics Interchange (gif)   · JPEG   · Portable Network Graphics (png)   · Tagged Image File Format (tif)   · Windows bitmap (bmp)   Colors Select one of 4 color settings: · Black and white   · Grayscale   · 256 colors   · 16 million colors   Note that certain image formats may not allow all the color options to be selected e.g. the gif format does not support 16 million colors. Jpeg options - Quality A higher quality results in a bigger file, while a lower quality image results in a smaller file. Jpeg options - Chroma subsampling Select one of 3 options: · 4:1:1 (lowest quality)   · 4:2:2 (medium quality)   · 4:4:4 (highest quality)   The type of chroma subsampling use affects the quality and size of the image. The higher the quality, the larger the size of the image file. Png options - compression Select the compression level for the png image. A higher compression level results in a smaller image file, but takes longer to generate. Png options - filter Select one of 3 options: · none   · paeth   · sub   Tiff options - compression Select one of 2 options: · none   · LZW   Selecting LZW results in smaller files, but increases the time slightly to generate the file.
