Yohz Ventures was founded in 2004 by Yeoh Ray Mond, an accountant by qualification but now works on software development.  Previous employment included stints with Exact Software, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte. In early 2004, Yohz Software released MiniSQLBackup, a backup tool for Microsoft SQL Server. MiniSQLBackup was purchased by Red Gate Software Ltd in 2005 and is now marketed under the name SQL Backup.
